How I am achieving my dreams with fine art photography and graphic design

Spread the love

I am Marcus Mkpouko Ebiden, a graduate of fine and applied arts from Yenagoa, Bayelsa with a sincere flair for fine art photography and graphic design.

I have always wanted to be a fine art photographer and graphics designer. With this vision in mind, I learned and familiarized myself with professionals who taught me the fundamentals of fine art photography and graphic design. Over time my skill got better and so did my patronage so I decided to give my career a push.

With a sum of N350,000, I got my professional tools and also rented and equipped my studio space, I must confess that was one of my greatest achievement and highest point as an entrepreneur. Believe me, I have had my share of low points too, at those early stages patronage was low and I don’t look forward to going back to that phase of my business again. Irrespective of these experiences I never thought of giving up because nothing good comes easy.

I look forward to engaging with  policymakers and investors as this will aid me scale with better equipments for more quality images.

So far I manage my business alone and only look for associates when I have a big event to cover, a wise man once said “if you want to fly, aim for the stars so you can at least fall back on the moon or sky” so I look up to my few mentors; Emeka Amafor, T.Y Bello, Kelechi Amadi Obi and I see myself becoming like them in few years to come.

Personally, I think entrepreneurship is the balance the Nigerian economy needs hence I advise my fellow youths who are seeking or already learning a skill to be passionate and focused, the good things of life always comes with a prize.

Be inspired and venture into fine art photography and graphic design business today.
